The Smarter Stand is a great little add-on for your existing Apple Smart Cover or Smart Case. The Smarter Stand consists of two specially molded clips that slide on the sides of the Smart Cover to immobilize the folds, creating a stand. As an example, you can slide one clip over the first fold and you get a 33-degree stand position. Position the other clip over the second fold as well and you get 45-degree stand position. The Smarter Stand is a Kickstarter project that was fully funded shortly after being posted. You can still get in on the project though by pledging $11, which will get you a White Smarter Stand. If White sounds too boring, a pledge of $14 will enable you to choose from 9 colors for your stand. The clips should ship this Fall by September or October.
